Held at the stunning venue of Braxted Park, the event was sponsored by Bentley of Chelmsford, Lamborghini Chelmsford, Nicholas Anthony Kitchens, Finique London & Essex Life and supported by many other local and national businesses.
Guests were treated to a three course gala dinner with live music and entertainment and a raffle, silent auction including some great sports memorabilia and a Best Dressed Competition. The main auction which included stunning trips to Barbados, Mexico and South Africa, plus luxury UK breaks in the west country and Cotswolds and much more. There was even the chance to bid for your weight in wine which proved very popular on the night!
Paul Beresford, Chairman/Managing Director of Beresfords Group, was delighted with the success of the company's third charity gala ball. He says: "We are simply overwhelmed by people's generosity. This is our third gala ball in aid of Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and over £85,000 has been raised thanks to local people and businesses who have supported and sponsored the event. We are grateful to each and every one of them."

Jane Gurney, CEO of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust, adds: "Each year we have to raise £6.5 million to continue offering our free-of-charge life-saving service to the people of Essex and Hertfordshire. Thanks to the generous support from organisations such as Beresfords, we can keep our helicopters and experienced teams of doctors and paramedics operational."
