The Thrift Green Trotters (TGT) annual 10k road race attracts runners from across the Country, all of whom come together in Brentwood to help raise money for St Francis Hospice.
As part of Beresfords continued aim to help support local charities and events, we have once again agreed to sponsor the event. The run takes place on Sunday 17th July at 11.00am from Herongate Football Club.
Thanks to the 2010 race, the club were able to make a donation of £1,500 to St Francis Hospice. The race is part of the Essex Championship.
The race is an exact 10 kilometres of undulating scenic country roads and is fairly traffic free. There will also be a 1.5 kilometre fun run entirely on grass fields for children starting at 10.15am.The minimum age for the 10K is 15 years. Closing date for entries is Saturday 9th July 2011.
